Curriculum

As a member of the Golden Triangle Curriculum Cooperative (GTCC), the basic curriculum utilized in the classroom by the teachers at the Montana School for the Deaf and the Blind is aligned with State standards. Our textbooks are selected to match our curriculum and are also aligned to State standards. In addition, the teachers at MSDB have developed a Success Curriculum which addresses the unique needs of our students in the areas of Living Skills and Transition. The teachers do Curriculum Progress Reports, which serve as the basis for our curriculum based assessments. These assessments are presented at regular Child Study Team (CST) meetings.
